2022 Tax credits for Solar

Currently, as of this writing, the federal tax credit for solar is still available to consumers in the amount of 26%.

I’m often asked the question as to whether someone can deduct the roof and the solar job if they are performed at the same time. My answer to that question is simple! Check with your tax professional!

I don’t believe that you should ever receive tax advice from a roofing or a solar contractor.
